Your new favorite dessert in under 60 mins!



Hear me out! Cheesecake eggrolls? I promise... it's amazing. I had some leftover egg roll wraps in the fridge but I was craving something sweet so I stumbled upon something new for me and it was something i'm glad that I tried out.


Here's the recipe:

1 pack of egg roll wrappers

16 oz cream cheese

1/3 cup sour cream

2/3 cup granulated sugar

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

canola oil (or vegetable oil)

confectioners sugar




Instructions:

  1. In your large bowl, mix together the cream cheese, sour cream, granulated sugar, and vanilla extract. A machine mixer would be ideal but you can also mix by hand until all ingredients are fully mixed.

  2. Begin wrapping your egg rolls. Place egg roll wrapper on flat surface and place filling in middle while following the following example:








-apply a LITTLE water to ends and roll to close. Apply a little after closed to finally seal.



3. Get your oil ready in skillet abount an inch deep. Fry your eggrolls for about a minute on each side.


4. Sprinkle with confectioners sugar and enjoy! Perhaps with a side of ice cream or a special sauce! I loved both ways or even plain was wonderful! Want me to do a recipe line for fruit sauces? Let me know!
